Management Online Survey
Introduction
Management online surveys are quantitative surveys for factory management staff that assess a factory’s performance on specific labor compliance issues such as human resources management, grievance procedure and workers participation. The survey result offers a comprehensive picture of the current situation and helps develop tailor-made capacity building plans.
Method
Each participant will receive a unique username and password to access the anonymous questionnaires online. Information is gathered through a standardized quantitative survey. Participants are asked to respond to a questionnaire mainly comprised of multiple-choice questions that usually takes 15-20mins. Information will be treated confidentially and only shared with parties involved.
Tool
Management online survey measures a factory’s compliance performance through following factors:
· Policy
· Procedure
· Training
· Implementation
· Communication
· Documentation
· Workers integration
· Awareness
Each of these factors is measured with 5 to 10 questions (items) that add up to a scale. The results will be included in the report, but participant’s name and information will be kept confidential.
How it works:
1. Each participant receives a unique username and password to access the anonymous questionnaires online.
2. Once the participant submits the questionnaire online, no one can access his /her answer even using the same username and password.
3. Information gathered through the standardized quantitative survey is analyzed and presented in the report using bar charts, tables etc.
4. FLA then summarizes main findings to help the factory develop tailor-made capacity building plan.
5. After 12 months (or certain period of time) the process can be repeated and the results are sent back to the factory comparing the baseline and impact assessment.
